Will this charge my Lithium Shuttle?
No. The Lithium Shuttle uses a round barrel plug that goes directly into the plastic housing. This charger uses a different quick-connect plug designed to attach to a wiring harness.
Can I use this on a lead-acid battery?
No. Lithium-Ion chargers have a specific voltage cutoff (usually 12.6V) that is different from lead-acid. Using this on a standard battery can damage the battery or the charger.
Why does it come with a harness?
Most "drop-in" lithium batteries (like the Mite) have F2 spade terminals on top. To charge them without unscrewing wires every time, you install the included harness permanently. You then just plug the charger into the harness's quick-connect pigtail.
