Will this degrade my MEGA Imaging picture?
No. This cable (720096-2) is specifically engineered with enhanced shielding to carry high-frequency MEGA Imaging signals. As long as the cable is routed away from major interference sources (like VHF radios or trolling motor power cables), you will maintain clear imaging.
Will this fit my SOLIX 12?
No. The SOLIX and APEX series use a 14-pin connector. This EC M30 uses the standard 7-pin connector found on HELIX units. You need the EC M3 1430 (Part #720106-1) for a SOLIX.
Is this waterproof?
The connectors are waterproof when screwed together tightly, but the connection point should not be submerged permanently in the bilge. We recommend securing the connection point high in the gunwale or under the console to keep it dry.
