Frequently Asked Questions

Will this stay on at full throttle?

No. This is designed for trolling speeds only (typically under 5-6 MPH). The drag of the water will rip the suction cup off if you try to get on plane. Always pull the transducer out of the water before running the big motor.

Does it work on aluminum boats?

It depends. The suction cup needs a perfectly smooth surface to hold. If your rental boat is old, scratched, or has rivets right where you want to mount it, it will not stick. It works best on smooth, painted aluminum or fiberglass.

Does it come with the transducer?

No. This is just the Mounting Bracket. You attach your existing transom transducer (the one that came with your HELIX or PiranhaMAX) to this bracket using the included hardware.
