Can I just use my phone charger block?
While many phone blocks offer 5V USB output, they vary wildly in amperage (some are "Fast Chargers" that push too much current). Using the official Aqua-Vu block ensures the amperage is exactly matched to the small battery in the Micro unit, preventing swelling or battery degradation.
Does this fit the new Revolution 5.0?
Yes. The Revolution series shares the same charging architecture as the Micro series. This kit works perfectly for all Revolution Reel systems.
My Micro isn't charging. Is it the cable or the battery?
It is often the cable. The connection point on the Micro series is small and can collect dirt or moisture. We recommend trying a new cable kit first. If a new charger doesn't light up the unit, the internal battery may have reached the end of its lifespan.
