The MKR-20 is a large "Push-In" style plug. The MKR-28 (this product) is a smaller, sleeker design that "Screws In" to lock. Both are rated for 60 Amps, but many anglers prefer the MKR-28 because the locking ring prevents it from accidentally pulling out.
Will this fit my existing plug hole?
It fits most standard 1-1/8" diameter mounting holes. If you are replacing an older, larger plug (like the MKR-18), the faceplate included in this kit usually covers the existing cutout perfectly.
Does it work with 8 Gauge wire?
