Will this show Down Imaging or Side Imaging?
No. The Universal Sonar 2 (US2) transducer built into the motor is a 2D Sonar only transducer (83/200 kHz). It physically cannot produce DownVü or SideVü images. This adapter will provide traditional 2D fish arches and depth readings only.
Will this fit my Garmin Striker 4?
It is physically the same 4-pin plug, but Minn Kota does not officially list the Striker series for this adapter (they recommend the 8-pin MKR-US2-14 with a Garmin adapter cable for newer units). We recommend sticking to the Echo Series for this specific cable to ensure full functionality.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. The Minn Kota end features a metal threaded collar with an O-ring for a watertight seal at the motor, and the Garmin end is a molded IPX7 plug designed to withstand rain and spray.
