Why won't this work with my i-Pilot PowerDrive?

Unlike the Terrova or Ulterra, which can use a remote and a foot pedal at the same time, the PowerDrive steering motor cannot process both inputs. If your PowerDrive has an i-Pilot GPS head installed, the motor's circuit board physically disables the foot pedal port.

Will this pedal work if I have the older CoPilot wireless system?

Yes! If your PowerDrive is equipped with the basic CoPilot wireless remote system (which is an older system different from the GPS-based i-Pilot), you can still plug in and use this corded foot pedal simultaneously.

Does this replacement pedal have a Spot-Lock button?

No. Standard PowerDrive foot pedals strictly control left/right steering, speed, and momentary/constant prop power. Spot-Lock is a GPS-specific feature that requires an i-Pilot system, which (as noted above) is fundamentally incompatible with PowerDrive foot pedals.
