Will this cable give me SideScan or DownScan on my HOOK2 unit?

No. The Universal Sonar 2 (US2) transducer integrated into Minn Kota trolling motors is strictly a traditional 2D sonar element. It cannot produce DownScan or SideScan imaging, regardless of what adapter cable you use.

Will this adapter work with a Lowrance Elite FS?

No, it will not. The HOOK2 and HOOK Reveal use a unique push-in style power/transducer connector. The Elite FS and HDS units use a different style of connector and require a different adapter cable (typically the MKR-US2-10).
