Humminbird XP 9 HW T In-Hull Transducer (Fiberglass Only)
710276-1Compatibility:
High Speed Depth for Fiberglass
Transom transducers often lose bottom contact at speeds over 40 MPH. The Humminbird XP 9 HW T solves this by mounting inside your hull. By shooting sonar through the solid fiberglass bottom, it provides reliable Dual Spectrum CHIRP (2D) readings at full throttle, ensuring you never lose track of depth while running to your spot.
The "Bass Boat" Standard:
This "puck" style transducer is epoxied directly to the inside bilge area of the boat. It includes a built-in temperature sensor and the necessary slow-cure epoxy kit for a bubble-free installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work on my aluminum boat?
Absolutely NOT. Sonar cannot shoot through aluminum efficiently. If you try to epoxy this into an aluminum hull, you will get zero signal. For aluminum boats, you must use a transom-mounted transducer (XNT) or a specialized "Alumaducer."
Does this give accurate water temperature?
It includes a temperature sensor, but because it is mounted inside the hull, it measures the temperature of the fiberglass, not the direct water. It will eventually match the water temp, but it reacts much slower than a transom sensor.
How do I use this with Side Imaging?
You need a 9 M SIDBY splitter cable. This allows you to plug both this In-Hull transducer (for high-speed 2D depth) and your transom Side Imaging transducer (for low-speed detail) into the same unit. The unit will automatically pull depth from this puck and imaging from the transom.
